Job description

Catbird is currently seeking an Annex Coordinator at our Wedding Annex to assist within the management team to help maintain store operations and maximize profitability through effective management of the floor staff and implementation of policies and procedures. The Annex Coordinator is responsible for continuously improving and developing store operation, taking ownership of the responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager, and acting as a role model to the rest of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities
    • Responsible for interactions and transactions on the floor and expected to have a high level of communication skills within the company
    • Supervise sales associates/floor staff for days in which Annex Coordinator is the manager on duty
    • Leads by example regarding professionalism, customer service skills, etc
    • Support and encourage staff to provide the highest level of customer serviceInform floor staff at start of day of any product updates, policy changes, or other miscellaneous information
    • Help to assist new employees using company tools and knowledge while monitoring and implementing to existing staff
    • Act as point person for both staff and customers, managing customer service issues and answering high level questions
    • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our merchandise
    • Resolve all customer problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
    • Assist sales associates with various customer service issues (i.e. dissatisfied customer, returns, defective merchandise)
    • Ability to focus and prioritize during busy times
    • Delegate tasks to employees to keep the business running smoothly (i.e. chore chart, restocking, tagging products, photo requests, emails, etc)
    • Maintain sales floor to adhere to brand standards & consistently look for opportunities to improve it
    • Ensure that all emails are answered by the end of the day
    • Communicate any inventory and supply needs as well as employee issues with Store Manager
    • Open and close the store following proper procedures documented in the opening and closing checklist
    • Collaborate with store manager in areas of management, physical security, and inventory management
Our Ideal Candidate
    • Retail experience required, jewelry experience a plus!
    • Looking for someone who understands that customer service is the MOST important thing
    • Personal integrity and time management 
    • Must be proficient in written and verbal communication
    • Must be able to navigate Microsoft Office, Gmail, Endear and Acuity
$24 - $26 an hour
Plus premium weekend pay & monthly bonus opportunities
