Website Developer

London Computer Systems (LCS) is seeking an experienced Website Developerwith a flair for visual design in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a web developer, you will work with each customer to design and develop beautiful, accessible websites that meets or exceeds their expectations. You will be involved in all phases of a project's life cycle and be responsible for brainstorming, conceptualizing, and executing each assigned website project. This role provides the best of both worlds; autonomy to create from scratch and own your projects from beginning to end while also working with a team of experienced individuals in a similar role from which to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customer websites.
• Update and maintain our current corporate websites.
• Collaborate with customers to define expectations and meet the customer’s website project goals.
• Work with design elements and full-stack development.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; associate degree in related field preferred
• 2+ years of professional website design and development
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work with a variety of customers and projects
• Self-motivation and a positive attitude
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to consistently produce professional-grade, creative, and timely website designs
• Working knowledge of content management systems (WordPress knowledge, including creating custom themes for WordPress)
• Professional web design skills (HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Working knowledge of UX/UI principles
• Experience with PHP and JavaScript libraries preferred
• Knowledge of RESTful API's preferred
• Interested candidates are highly recommended to include a sample of recent work or a link to a portfolio showcasing multiple custom websites created by the candidate from start to finish.
