The Web Services Manager (Temp) is responsible for helping with the management of CIIS' new website, monitoring and responding to Zendesk requests, conducting content management system (CMS) training for all editors/admins, and providing support to the editor community. This person will work closely with the Web Developer and the Creative Services team, which are both part of the Office for Strategic Communications and Relations (OSCR).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain content updates for CIIS' new website through the CMS
- Respond to website requests through Zendesk
- Create new pages or sections of the website, and manage the process of coordinating with departments, offices
- Populate online faculty and staff directory and update faculty profiles
- Ensure webpages are SEO optimized by checking titles, meta descriptions, and alt text of images
- Providing rapid response to urgent website content requests from upper administration
- Providing other administrative support to the web team and OSCR as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and/or website management or web development training
- Experience with CMS and updating websites, Drupal or Wordpress preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Can work independently, but is also a team player
- Coding skills a big plus but not required

PHYSICAL ABILITIES
This position requires attention to detail, good memory, ability to work under deadline pressure, sitting and standing for long periods of time, oral and written communication, keyboarding for significant portions of the workday, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, patience, and tact to perform the essential functions.

- Working Conditions - Duties are primarily performed in an office environment at a desk or computer terminal, typically Monday through Friday.
