Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for initiating, maintaining, coordinating or managing projects focused on enhancements to websites and servers in a service-oriented culture.
Essential Elements of the Job:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all technical aspects of Web site, including performance issues such as speed of access, and approving site content.
- Plans, designs, develops, tests, edits, maintains, documents look and flow of web sites.
- Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer Internet systems to constantly improve site performance.
- Interviews program managers to help clarify goals for Web sites.
- Monitors data communications network to ensure that network is available to all system users and resolves data communications problems.
Accountabilities
- Smooth operation of all Web sites and associated operations.
- Timely and successful transfer of critical files.
- Facilitation of department requests for major or minor site modification, update and redesign
- New technology investigation as necessary to department.
- Coordination of on-site and off-site employees and contract labor.

Employee must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, planning and organizational skills, and extreme attention to detail. Employee must display initiative, creativity and able to multi-tasks simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to learn, understand and apply new technologies. Employee must possess strong interpersonal, strategic and problem-solving skills and be able to work together as a team. Ability to hyper-focus on issues for quick resolution and strong strategic and problem-solving skills.
QualificationsQualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Project Management and/or related field or combined work experience is required. A minimum of 4 years of work experience in a management, project management or equivalent role is required. Employee will have a working or layman knowledge of programming languages used on websites, with an initiative to explore new technology and apply that to online efforts. As department manager, you would coordinate all website projects supporting new ideas and marketing initiatives, and would manage development efforts from project concept to execution. Must demonstrate adaptability in processes, be capable of balancing the needs of multiple concurrent projects of varying size, and the ability to manage and collaborate with a team both in person and remote.
