Job Description:
We are seeking a Web Development Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading development and execution of web content within our content management system including defining project requirements, technical scoping, work back timelines, performance and quality assurance including testing and launch plans. Projects include full site redesigns, marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and ongoing content updates.
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define web project requirements, scope, deliverables and manage development execution
- Scope technical tasks, workback timelines and maintain project trackers to ensure all deliverables execute on time
- Act as key liaison to Marcom, Merchandising and Internationalization to ensure website requirements are represented and supported and build deep subject matter expertise in the client's web technologies.
- Maintain regular engagement and collaboration with web developers. Review project code in CMS to ensure optimum performance, accessibility and global stability.
- Establish end to end testing, dogfooding and launch plans to ensure stability of site
- Manage the publishing and quality assurance of JP site, working closely with JP partners on Marcom web initiatives
- Build strong relationships and communicate up/down/across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy.
- Ability to self execute code in CMS on an ongoing, as needed basis
- Partner with Engineering on expanding our CMS tooling and component capabilities
Experience / Skill Requirements:
- 3-5 years professional experience managing front end Web Development projects, working with cross functional teams throughout each project lifecycle.
- Experience with the technical aspects of running a website, including analytics, UX, technical and content SEO, domain management, content management systems, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, platform tools, localization, and budgeting.
- Experience with communicating high-level strategy and technical details across teams, locations, and organizations, including leadership and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communicator, superb verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.
- Experience working with a diverse set of cross functional partners
- Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail, able to detect inconsistencies and errors
