Position Description:

Jet Set Sports is seeking a talented Web and Email Marketing Strategist to join our team to lead our marketing efforts across major international events. The ideal candidate is someone enthusiastic about sports and sports marketing with an understanding and appreciation for international sporting events. This individual should be able to pivot and work on multiple tasks concurrently. Driven with high diligence and an appreciation for how marketing drives sales/revenue.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Thorough understanding of targeted email & web-based marketing strategies.
• Serves as marketing subject matter expert, making recommendations to executive teams and internal departments to identify, prioritize and execute new communication needs and opportunities.
• Creates highly targeted and personalized emails using dynamic content.
• Manage all email deployments using email provider and bulk email tools.
• Collaborating with executive team to oversee the creative process targeting key group promotion through different channels (email, social, digital).
• Manage the timeline of key deliverables.
• Implements and manages email and social campaign plans and calendars.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Experience writing web content and promotional copy.
• SEO experience.
• Ability to deliver fresh innovative ideas.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Superior writing and editing skills.
• Experience with graphic design.
• Proficient in Mail Chimp, and Social Media platforms.
• Able to multi-task while maintaining high diligence.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and research skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years’ experience in live events, sports, or hospitality industries.
• 3-5 years experience in marketing.
• Experience with copy-writing and content creation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel internationally for extended periods of time.
