Summary: SEI Systems Expert!
Partners with Wealth Management team to enhance process improvements and leverage utilization of technologies. Evaluates new processes, procedures, systems, and vendors, makes recommendations, and facilitates implementations. Gains insights via data analysis to guide Wealth Management initiatives to improve performance of client-facing and back-office operations. Understands and supports processes that allow data to flow between Wealth systems. Provides consultative project management and implementation support for all Wealth Management technology systems.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as liaison between Wealth Management business line and system vendors. Manages resolution of complicated processing problems, troubleshooting issues and escalation with vendor and internal management.
- Ability to build reports using the platform and support the business line with all reports as needed.
- Tracks outstanding issues, and escalates, as appropriate.
- Analyzes impacts of vendor released software upgrades. Facilitates implementation of new feature/functionality that improves service, process, or product.
- Works with vendor to develop in-depth training plans and procedural documentation to support implementation of new system releases, enhancements, or modifications. Documents all development according to Bank's standard policies and procedures.
- Formulates proposals for new or enhanced systems and information needs by analyzing existing systems and procedures and defining technical and procedural improvements. Defines and documents functional requirements and specifications with Wealth Management staff and other business lines.
- Become a subject matter expert in terms of where data resides within the various Wealth Management systems and how information flows between different systems.
- Develop and execute on approaches to improve data integrity and data quality across Wealth Management systems.
- Participates in vendor user groups with intention of influencing vendor product and process direction and to develop network of similar vendor users.
- Develops test plans and performs testing of new enhancements, vendor releases and other modifications to existing systems.
- Facilitates completion of corporate Project and Process governance requirements
- Keeps abreast of technology in Wealth Management and strives to improve the digital capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- At least 5 years of business/systems analysis experience
- At least 2 years of experience with financial information systems, with emphasis on Wealth Management and/or asset management related systems
- SEI experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Wealth Management, products, and financial applications preferred.
- Excellent understanding of data and process workflow
- Solid understanding of SQL database structures and management preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Report writing system skills.
- Business, managerial, and technical skills to support business needs.
- Ability to function independently in collaborative environment.
- Ability to generate trust and build alliances with peers
