Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drawing blood specimens from patients by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques.
• Ensuring patient safety during the blood sample procedure.
• Label the blood samples correctly for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring the sanitization of all equipment and maintaining the cleanliness of the phlebotomy area.
• Interfacing with patients to clarify critical information and respond to their inquiries effectively.
• Liaising between patients, doctors, and laboratories while ensuring the accurate and timely collection and delivery of samples.
• Advocating and adhering to the healthcare organization's compliance standards and regulations.
• Participating in educational updates to maintain a clinical edge and knowledge of recent industry developments.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a clean background check and drug screening.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, and staff.
• Submit High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate a passion for providing quality care and maintaining dignity of patients.
• Strong physical endurance for assisting patients in activities of daily living.
• Must be able to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Willingness to undergo training
