Our Practice Areas -
Transportation - Provides services in transportation planning, roadway/highway design, bridge design, engineering, and program development to transportation agencies, cities, and counties.
Water Resource Planning - Provides integrated planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive, resilient water solutions for clients. Water management requires a comprehensive approach to maximize current supplies, provide resiliency against natural disasters and uncertainty, balance flood and drought cycles, and plan for future needs.
Water Resource Design - Offers heavy civil infrastructure design - dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, and flood protection systems. Multiple engineering disciplines - geotechnical, structural, hydrology and hydraulics.
Stormwater - Guides federal, state, and local entities through stormwater and flood risk reduction programs utilizing modeling approaches, effective design, and policy development.
Water/Wastewater Master Planning - Aids municipalities and utilities in enhancing their existing infrastructure for future needs. Through various planning activities and analyses, provides comprehensive planning services that provide solutions and roadmaps for capital improvements, hydraulic modeling, operational assessments, and business/financial process improvements.
Water Transmission & Utilities - Provides engineering and management support for water pumping and pipeline systems - pump stations, pumps, pipelines, utilities, tanks, and valve facilities. Engineering support for all phases of a project lifecycle: planning/studies, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction.
Water/Wastewater Treatment - Leads planning studies and plant designs for treatment facilities and provides construction phase and start up/commissioning services for advanced water, wastewater, and water reuse treatment systems for municipal, state, and federal clients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform specific and limited tasks within a broader assignment
- Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations
- Assist project manager as needed
- Collect, adjust, and correlate perform calculations, and recognize discrepancies in results
Qualifications
- Current student pursuing a BS or MS degree in one of the majors listed above
- Graduation date of May 2024 or later
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Excel, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD, or GIS
- Student organizational involvement
The hourly range for this position is $20- $27 and is dependent on candidate's qualifications as compared to minimum and preferred requirements.
