SalaryThe City of Gothenburg is accepting applications for the position of Water/Sewer Utility Worker. Essential duties include repairing Water/Sewer piping and running heavy equipment. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and one-year experience in the utility equipment industry, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Any post secondary technical training in biology, chemistry, or closely related field; or experience in Water/Sewer systems is preferred and shall be taken into consideration in the hiring process. The successful applicant will be required to currently have, or successfully receive within six months of employment, a Grade IV Water Certification.
