We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant to join our water and sewer team. This individual will be capable of learning how to conduct all tests associated with ensuring that our drinking water is safe and meets all state and local requirements. You will also be required to run testing at our sewage pond to make sure it is working properly and meeting all state and local requirements as well.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance such as mowing, cleaning out storm water drains, helping with weekend on call duty on a rotating basis, maintaining the burn pile at the sewage pond with back hoe, picking up leaves in the fall, and any other duties that our Utility Superintendent deems necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
