Bring your expertise and join our team of national Lead and Copper practice experts. You'll continue to grow your career as a Water Resource Engineer for our water market clients by leading water quality studies, master plans, condition assessments and more. You'll develop proposals, lead discussions with our Clients and mentor junior staff. We look forward to supporting your active involvement with AWWA and/or WEF. 

You'll interact directly with our team leadership, the owner and contractors throughout various phases of project delivery. You and your team will deliver work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce studies, designs and contract documents.

   Bachelor's Degree in environmental, chemical, or civil engineering
   Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain reciprocity, in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and others. 
   Demonstrated understanding of drinking and/or wastewater unit processes, water quality studies, regulations, permitting, advanced treatment technologies, master planning and condition assessments
   Willingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary tools  
   Strong water quality analyses background
   Experience providing and receiving Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews
   Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities 
 
Ideally, You'll Also Have: 
 
   Master's Degree or PhD in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering. 
   Research based background
   Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers
   Experience providing facility start-up assistance
   Proof of United States citizenship
   Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work 
   Strong communication skills both verbal and written 
   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
   Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas 
   Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base 
   Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams 
   Passionate about the industry
