This opening is to fill one position; either a Warranty Coordinator or Warranty Specialist, depending on skills and experience. The intention would be that if a candidate is hired as a Warranty Coordinator, they would build skill and experience to develop into the Warranty Specialist position.
At Barron, our Warranty Coordinatorwill:
- Electronically receive warranty parts and equipment from Barron technicians
- Process timely claims, and follow up with external sources regarding warranty credit payments
- Clarify warranty questions for internal team members
- Communicate with outside vendors to ensure timely processing of warranty claims and adherence to manufacturer’s claims process
- Support the purchase of extended warranties for qualified new equipment installations and maintain extended warranty records in operating system
- Maintain up-to-date warranty documents within the warranty document resource library
- Collaborate with Warehouse and Purchasing on freight damage claims
- Coordinate with Warehouse on return shipments of warranty parts and equipment
- Monitor warranty return and claim process to ensure reimbursement is received
- Provide resources to internal team members to guide through warranty processes and procedures
- Establish a good working relationship with all Barron team members

At Barron, in addition to the duties of the Coordinator, our Warranty Specialistwill:
- Oversee the extended warranty process
- Participate in decision making regarding warranty claim qualification
- Develop and implement warranty reporting for internal stakeholders
- Develop warranty document resource library
- Develop training on warranty best practices with People Operations
- Provide feedback regarding appropriate warranty usage to department managers
- Oversee freight damage claims process
Eligibility for the Warranty Specialistposition will be determined according to your level of experience.

Warranty Coordinator Compensation:
- Full-Time; Non-Exempt
- Hourly: $22-26 per hour; DOE
- Annual cost-of-living adjustments
Warranty Specialist Compensation:
- Full-Time; Exempt
- $68,000 per year; DOE
- Annual cost-of-living adjustments

Experience & Qualifications:
- Warranty Coordinator
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Related experience: Service Writing, Reverse Supply Chain, Purchasing, and/or Trades Experience (preferred)
- Warranty Specialist
- 3-5 years related work experience
- Related experience: Service Writing, Reverse Supply Chain, Purchasing, and/or Trades Experience (required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pre-Employment drug screening
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
