Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
· Generate work orders on material returned under RGA system for credit purposes. Documents the receipt of returned material. Reviews information provided on customer claim form and or packing list.
· Process customer complaints. Review information provided by customer and the appropriate internal Red DOT department. Perform necessary investigation to determine complaint validity and issue credit if required along with a customer claim summary.
· Process Warranty Claims submitted by customers. Review information provided on claim forms and verify conformance to negotiated policy guidelines. Determine amount of credit/debit to be issued.
· Communicate disputed claim findings to the customer and work with them to understand why the claim was denied resulting in the need for a reversal of the debit or negotiate a settlement with the customer.
· Enter claim information and codes into the warranty data base and quality data base.
· Issue customer credit / debit memos and claim disposition correspondence.
· Apply credit to appropriate customer account.
· Prepare customer credit and supplier recovery reports.
· Collect data and produces statistical comparisons and trend analysis that support Red DOT’s warranty task force and warranty presentations.
· Aid in product evaluation as well as tearing down and salvaging defective/scrapped product as well as repackage and enter recovered product as needed.
· Enter Customer Complaints; assign Return Goods Authorizations, Scrap Goods Authorizations.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Ensure knowledge of the appropriate safety, security and environmental revisions. Handle relevant equipment with care, being concerned with safety and security. Immediately report safety concerns to Supervisor/Lead.
· Ensure a professional appearance, use professional verbiage and maintain appropriate body language.
· Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume regulated environment applying strong attention to detail.
· Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot, problem-solve and effectively and efficiently make decisions.
· Strong communication skills with external and internal personnel to include:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
· High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
· 2+ years working in around manufacturing environment required; familiarity of vehicle air conditioning systems electronics and electrical systems a bonus
· Able to understand technical specifications and drawings, including GD&T.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
· Able to perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
· Basic knowledge of office application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access.
· Basic knowledge of basic accounting concepts.
· Able to lift up to 35 pounds unaided.
· 1+ year experience understanding specifications and blue prints, including GD&T
· Experience with ERP systems, whether Oracle or SAP

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Sufficient manual dexterity and motor control to use common drafting implements and calculators.

Salary Grade** for this role is as follows:
Min: $21.00/hour
Mid: $25.00/hour
Max: $29.00/hour
