PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling material safely to appropriate areas.
- Use of forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts.
- The ability to handle documentation depending on the current work task.
- Strong knowledge of equipment location and where to locate them in the warehouse.
- Stencil/Marking parts.
- Perform spray painting functions, related preparatory undercoating, preservatives, and lubricants.
- Clean and maintain paint shop equipment such as air lines, fluid lines, paint pots, paint guns and respirators.
- Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.
- Maintain and change paint booth media filters and surface protectant coatings as needed.
- Properly contain hazardous waste generated from normal paint shop operations.
- Assist in conduction physical inventories and cycle counts.
- The ability to understand work processes and utilize EBS system when needed.
- Familiarity with the Kardex System.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by management.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. The ability to assist junior level employees with completion of the task to meet department goals
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diplomat or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Good working knowledge of Oil and Gas.
- Working knowledge within an industrial environment.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- Painting experience is a plus. Computer literacy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, clothing, glasses, goggles, respirator/face mask, ear plugs/muffs and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work potentially will be performed in areas where harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing chemicals). Per HSE requirements, you could be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- Someone in this position will need to be very observant to any imperfections and very conscientious about their work.
- Must be Safety Oriented.
- Must have basic math, reading and good communication skills.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job. Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedule.

- Report problems to responsible management levels. Meeting established company production goals.
PHYSICAL/NON-PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical stature must be such that the individual can operate machinery eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day.
- No reoccurring physical problems that could be aggravated by this type of work.
- The employee must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to twist and bend
- Must take a respiratory fit test, which will be scheduled/coordinated by NOV.
