Warehouse/Purchasing Associate

Reports to: VP of Operations

What You’ll Do

Our Warehouse Associate will be responsible for:

• Ownership of all aspects of company warehouse. Including but not limited to, tool and equipment check out, material check out, cleanliness, organization and keeping key items stocked.
• Maintaining warehouse organization, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Delivery (when/as needed) & receiving of materials.
• Material mobilization & demobilization for different job sites. Communicate and assist field crews by coordinating pick-up/delivery of products and tools to job sites as needed.
• PPE compliance/tool preparation for field workers.
• Preparing material for technicians to pick up on a daily basis.
• Recording and tracking of material coming in and out of the warehouse, this includes data entry of material transfers. Proficiency in data entry and use of Google sheets/docs is a must. QuickBooks inventory experience a plus.
• Helping keep a constant eye on product inventory so that the company always has the products it needs, where needed, for scheduled jobs.
• Fabricating material, cutting material to size and preparing sleeves.
• Assisting other office staff on other misc. office tasks as needed, i.e. answering the phone, scanning files, data entry, etc.
• Following up with vendors on non-conforming material.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy - Maintains accurate inventory levels in excel by correctly filling orders, packing slips, organizing the material in the warehouse and conducting regular inventory counts.
• Troubleshooting warehouse and production issues, performs minor repairs as needed.
• Communicating errors in product, equipment, and other issues that may arise in fulfilling orders.
• Regular, reliable on-site attendance.
• Safety and Continuous Improvement - Participates in continuous improvement activities including submitting ideas to help drive improvement.
• Following company safety policies and procedures and looks for ways to improve safety in the facility.

What We’re Looking For:

• Warehouse: minimum 1 year (Required)
• Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Knowledge of best practices in warehousing.
• Computer literacy
• Customer service
• Data entry
• Staging and organizing

• Pallet jack
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check

Schedule:

Full time, non-exempt 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday, some evenings and weekend hours as required.

This includes RF consulting, budgetary quotes (pre or post construction), system design and full integration of Distributive Antenna Systems (DAS). Our system methods include coax/indoor antennas, Radiax/”Leaky Coax”, fiber optic and hybrid systems that include any combination of the above mentioned. A system can be designed for single or multiple buildings.

After working at Motorola Solutions for over a decade our sales and engineering staff has specialized in full integration of DAS and In-Building systems since 2003. We have worked very closely with Fire Marshalls, general contractors, electrical contractors, low-voltage contractors, developers, and owners reps. We are always up to date with the local fire ordinances.

DASi can also provide educational meetings or presentations to provide your organizations staff on the latest ordinance updates, constructions requirements and methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
