Parts Service Counter Salesperson

The Parts Counter Salesperson position executes parts and accessory sales transactions for the dealership. The Counter Salesperson is responsible for assisting with customer parts selection and for selling parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers by phone or over the counter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and service advisors with parts sales and delivery in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accurately price parts and accessories and make corresponding entries on repair order documentation and the computer system.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for the technician in a timely manner.
• Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry.
• Pull parts from stock, and if not in stock, determine availability and relay to the Service Department.
• Assist with stocking incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Maintain the shop counter in clean and orderly manner.
• Provide technicians and service advisors with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the parts sales process.
• Return or restock parts not needed for repair.
• Compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Monitor the controls in place to safeguard dealership assets and customer data; report any deviations to the supervisor.
• Maintain professional personal appearance.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s Licenses and acceptable driving record
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Parts Counter Sales: 2 years (Required)
• Ford dealership counter sales: 1 year (Preferred)
