Job Summary – Warehouse/Parts Coordinator
Orders parts as needed, ensures inventory is accurate and warehouse is in order. Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Essential Job Functions
· Loading, unloading and moving product at warehouse.
· Coordinates and stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements.
· Prepares product for shipment.
· Placing orders for product.
· Verifies stock inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
· Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
· Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
· Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
· Drive required distances to deliver product to mechanics and job sites.
· Load and unload cargo.
· Record cargo deliveries.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (ADA):
a) Lifting: 50 to 70 lbs.
b) Stooping/bending: Frequent
c) Crawling/climbing/kneeling: Moderate
d) Reaching/pulling/pushing: Moderate
e) Extended time sitting Moderate
f) Extended time standing and walking Frequent
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years of parts purchasing, in the elevator industry preferred. Warehouse experience required. Good computer skills with proficiency in Excel. Excellent customer service skills. PC literacy and experience with MS Office Applications.
