Must have the ability to gain access to a military/federal facility by passing a criminal background check, pre-employment screening, and an up-to-date vaccination record.
A minimum of 90 consecutive days on location is required.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: A warehouseman, or warehouse worker, may be tasked with any of a variety of duties that keep a warehouse running efficiently. Responsibilities often include the following: Provide the highest quality of customer service to counterparts and clients. Assisting shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in products or materials. Responsible for picking up and storing non-food items, cleaning solutions, and paper products, kitchen cleaning and operations (machine and manual washing) and perimeter cleaning functions. Responsible for sanitation, cleanliness and ensuring the DFAC is visually appealing and orderly.
Transfer food for deliveries, picks up food carts and delivers food carts utlizing pallet jacks and/or forklifts. Must be able to safely perform duties by lifting, pulling, walking and communicating.
Loads, transfers and delivers supplies to the cafeterias.
Performs manual and clerical duties in the warehouse as instructed.
Assists in the unloading of vendor’s trucks.
Assists in receiving and disbursing of food service supplies.
