Warehouse/Forklift Operator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. Prefferably with experciance at operating a forklift. Experiance with crossdock/ consolidation of freight. Schedule is flexible but is demanding with hours available over the weekends and especially during the week

Duties:

- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse

- Consolidate/ de-consolidate trailers

- Load/ unload product to deliveires or that are coming from their pick ups

- Assist in inventory management by accurately marking and serparate different loads.

- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to make sure shipments meet their deadlines

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleaniness inside the warehouse

- Assist in shipping and receiving processes as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse setting

- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and pallet jacks

- Knowledge of warehouse management, weight distribution with in trailers

- Familiarity with OSHA regulations regarding forklift operation and safety protocols

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions from fellow drivers or other company dispatcher
