JOB TITLE: Utility Position: Warehouse Driver / Stone Shop Labor

Opportunity: Top Priority, Inc. Countertops is Utilityman, who will work as both our warehouse delivery driver and a stone shop laborer. However, more importantly, the ideal candidate will be a "GO GETTER."

We are looking for winners to join our team, and represent the quality product and service we have become well-known for throughout the Islands of Hawaii and beyond. You will be responsible for the pick-up and transportation of the materials and consumables used to fabricate countertops two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) the remaining time will be spent in various tasks at the stone shop with a focus on polishing. Other duties may be assigned.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

This is a hybrid position. The Candidate will The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Driver is to ensure all the proper materials have been packed, loaded, and delivered safely. You will also work with the Stone Shop as a general laborer, learning various skills. You may act as an installation helper and be in the field from time to time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

75% Warehouse Driver

• Work with The Inventory specialist & Purchasing manager regarding daily driver schedule. Pick up material in a timely and reliable manner
• Deliver to Young Brothers
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required ·’
• Adhere to the rules of the road and all state driving laws.
• Practice proper safety protocols and utilize proper safety equipment
• Forklift experience
• Any other field duties as assigned
• Able to route the most efficient route for deliveries and pickups and Deliver all materials, equipment and products to job as assigned.
• Inspect vehicles before each use. Maintain exterior and interior cleanliness of Company vehicles.
• Properly load materials onto the vehicle with a forklift in a safe manner to insure they are not damaged during the loading, transport and unloading process.
• Calm Demeanor able to communicate articulately and clearly internally and with our vendors.
• Return unused product and materials from shops and return to the vendor for credit on the company account.
• Must be able to use a computer and learn software
• Complete JWD pick up reports

25% Shop Helper

• Work with The Inventory specialist make sure all inventory is imaged and received
• Help Keep lot and slab Inventory racks orderly
• Other duties as assigned

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

First aid training, forklift and overhead crane certification, and training on Park Industries equipment are helpful and/or can help be obtained.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis: Climbing, Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and handling.

The maximum amount of weight required to be lifted will be approximately 50 pounds.
