Job Description
This position supervises issues, offers input, is responsible for the oversight of multiple workers day-to-day work and is critical to the organization through ensuring material is available to all multifamily field operations in a timely manner while working to achieve accurate material receiving, jobsite inventory, maintain overall communication, and reduce material and labor waste.
Essential Job FunctionsWAREHOUSE- Reviews Packing List for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities.
- Responsible for receiving and storing incoming merchandise.
- Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
- Maintains equipment as well as safety of equipment.
- Make sure all regulations such as TSA/CTPAT/TAPA/CFS are followed and ready for inspection.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Support customers with problems or concerns.
- Control Inventories.
- Maintains cleanliness in warehouse.
- Responsible to specific duties, such as refurbishment of incoming merchandise in accordance with customer’s orders.
- As a Team Leader, execute successful leadership of all Distribution Coordinators by ensuring a high level of productivity, quality and provide feedback to the Distribution Manager on overall team performance
- Lead Distribution Coordinators with their schedules, providing guidance and directions, check accuracy and quality of work, and provide training if necessary.
- Understands overall Logistics Customers of the branch, with their business flow, SOP, processes KPI, as well as billing and inventory reconciliation / cycle count.
- Always seek out for improvements in terms of processes and layout, as necessary discuss SOP and Process KPI with client.
- Escalation Point of Contact with Logistics Customers.
- Maintains good communication with management, office staff members and customers
- Any project that is assigned by supervisor/manager and/or the Company.
- Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisors for solution.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area
Education & Work Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Six months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
- Aptitude for prioritizing, planning, and problem-solving
- Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization
- Ability to accurately manage inventory
