About us

The Browning Service and Distribution Center located in Arnold, Missouri, is searching for a full-time Warehouse Order Processor to join our team and provide top-notch distribution to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory within the warehouse, and organizing stock.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and RF scanners to track and locate inventory and process customer orders accurately.
• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Interacting with computers and scanners to process customer orders for distribution.
• Operate mechanical equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move and transport materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Communicating with supervisors and peers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate various types of equipment.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and computers.
• Experience with order picking and fulfillment processes.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and maintain a tidy workspace.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in logistics and shipping.
• Talking to others to convey information effectively.
• Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
• Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
