Tyndale is seeking part-time Warehouse Workers to work 20–24 hours per week in different areas of Distribution. Primary tasks involve preparing and completing special-order fulfillment projects as well as helping with in-house inventory projects such as building book sets, sorting products for defect, applying labels to products and cartons, shrink-wrapping books, and Bibles, etc. The position also provides general warehouse support including picking and packing of parcel orders for shipping, processing customer returns for credit, and putting inventory away into our flow rack.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in reading and speaking English. Hand dexterity is required. Good communication skills are essential. Digital aptitude is a plus. Candidates should have a good and consistent work ethic, be able to work well with others in a team environment and accept delegated authority. In addition, candidates should be flexible, focused, and attentive to details. The job requires sitting, walking, standing, bending for the duration of the shift, and some lifting (up to 25-lb cartons). Work hours are flexible within the company normal work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional optional Saturday hours. No forklift skills are required.
