Warehouse Worker

Orion is expanding and currently has various open Warehouse positions. Our Warehouse team works in a brand-new distribution center that is clean and climate controlled. As a Warehouse employee, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse positions require strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Positions and Responsibilities:

Receiver:

· Receive incoming shipments of firearm and accessories

· Verify the accuracy of received items against packing lists and purchase orders

· Upload and load shipments using appropriate equipment from incoming delivery trucks

· Utilize Microsoft Business Central to efficiently review sales order and receive information.

· Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.

· Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.

· Verify packages according to sales order and invoices (quantity, quality, price).

· Assist with resolving identified receiving issues.

· Assist with stocking and binning received inventory.

· Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.

Picker/ Packer:

· Pull items from assigned bin locations, verify the quantity of each SKU and model number as picked

· Accurately pick firearms and related accessories from warehouse shelves based on distribution orders

· Use handheld scanners or other picking devices to ensure correct predetermine pick sequence.

· Assist in a periodic inventory counts and reconciliation

· Prepares packages for shipment

· Label packages accurately, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.

Inspector:

· Safely and securely pack firearms and accessories for shipping to customers

· Ensure that all packing materials are appropriate and meet safety standards

· Report any discrepancies or damage items to the manager

· Conduct visual inspections to ensure that all picked and packed items meet quality standards

· Complete and maintain accurate records of all transactions, including shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive products

· Team player

· Ability to lift and carry items up to 60 pds, repetitively throughout the workday

· Experience in operating forklifts is preferred but not required

· Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude

· Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· Overtime is required if busy – approximately 10 hours per week

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
