Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic Math skills.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License Meeting University driving requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using package tracking software.
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
- Experience working for a State Agency or University.
- Experience driving a forklift.
Job Description
Responsible for working indoors and outdoors with other university employees involved in receiving, storing, and delivering supplies, parts, books, equipment and other materials ordered by the University.
Job Duties
- Receiving and unloading freight trucks inspecting for visible damage
- Checking in freight against university Purchase Orders, packing slips and freight bills
- Loading freight onto our university vehicles for delivery to campus.
