The Director of Programs is ultimately responsible for the successful execution of all DLT contract vehicles (programs). The Director leads a team of dedicated Program Managers (PMs) and is accountable for overall program health and performance, maximizing contract utilization, crisis-resolution, exercising of option years as well as defining and implementing business processes that deliver operational excellence, increase revenue/margins and drives unprecedented value to our customers and clients. The Director must maintain and fortify relationships with strategic government contract stakeholders including CO's, COR's, agency executives and other decision makers to protect and retain existing business while assisting efforts to secure new contracts and programs. The Director also collaborates with DLT Sales and Market Executives to assist with capture and proposal of net new contracts/programs that leverage the Enterprise Agreement Platform (EAP).
The Director is responsible for working with the respective DLT divisions and key client counterparts to achieve successful business reviews. The Director is also responsible for building and managing Customer Marketplace implementations. In this role, the Director leads cross-divisional teams to drive the continuous evolution and refinement of one of DLT's most important differentiators.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of dedicated program managers who are responsible for a portfolio of contract
- programs, including SLED, EDU and federal enterprise-level agreements.
- Named program manager (direct responsibility) for large, dynamic enterprise agreements as assigned by the division leader.
- Mentor Program Managers and ensure a common, repeatable methodology is applied to all programs.
- Present capability briefs, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and other presentations to C-level decision makers, key vendor stakeholders, and DLT leadership.
- Assist with business development, capture management and proposal creation for new strategic programs.
- Interface with executive management, government organizations and agencies to identify and help shape new opportunities that leverage DLT's Enterprise Agreement Platform.
- Directly oversee the design, build and launch of all new DLT Marketplace implementations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 10-15 years Program Management experience.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentation skills to individuals and groups, internally and externally
- Strong negotiation skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) highly desired
- Strong proficiency with office automation tools including MS Project, Vision
