Metrie is hiring for a Warehouse Worker in Frederick, MD

Please note :This role requires commuting to Columbia, MD until the company relocates to Frederick, MD in March of 2024

As our Warehouse Worker, you will have the opportunity to:

• Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors
• Read and understand pick lists and paperwork
• Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh up to 49 lbs.
• Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities
• Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer
• Clean and tidy the work area as required
• Ensure all work is performed safely and timely
• Product binning and put away as needed

Who You Are

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50lbs
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment

It would be an added bonus if you have:

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated warehouse experience in a warehouse environment
