Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Material handling - Ship and receive packaged materials (box trailers, containers, etc.) (forklift operation)

• Performing duties to include checking water levels in forklifts and pre-operational forklift inspections.

• Remove waste drums from R6 staging area, safety shower/eyewash inspections, SCBA inspections, waste inspections

• Work with Production Manager to ensure warehouse/miscellaneous priorities can be met in a safe manner, reporting issues with manpower/equipment/near misses/incidents etc

• Participate in Safety at Evonik activities, perform SAP transactions

• Perform inventory cycle counts

• Coordinate with plant raw material needs, produce labels when needed for waste drummed materials.

• Maintain CDL. Use yard dog to transfer finished products and raw materials between site warehouses.

• Proper handling and recognition of hazardous and universal waste following site procedures DOT and RCRA regulations

• Occasional transfers to other warehouse in Janesville, WI

REQUIREMENTS

• HS Diploma
• Previous Warehouse/Production experience preferred
• Valid DL
• Ability to obtain CDL
• Ability to keep and maintain Hazmat on Driver's License
