Warehouse Team Leader

MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a Warehouse Associate Lead in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area!

Pay:$19.75 / hour

Shift:2nd shift, 1:30PM - 10PM, Monday to Friday

As a Warehouse Associate Lead, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the shipping and receiving of goods to and from multiple locations. You'll bring a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, as well as materials management, and distribution/transportation practices. Your expertise will help us meet our business objectives effectively and efficiently.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform material handling and warehousing tasks such as receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Utilize various source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing.
• Operate machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Safely operate and service mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment in the facility.
• Perform specialized clerical and documentation duties as required.
• Fulfill other assigned duties as directed by management.

Job Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years' of Warehouse Associate LEAD experience is REQUIRED
• Warehouse & Logistics experience is preferred
• Basic mathematical skills
• Can use and understand Microsoft Office Excel and Word
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents

Physical Requirements:

• Can walk, carry, reach, stand, and stoop for long periods of time
• Can lift, push or pull items of varying weight
• Can work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor
• Can work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.

Additional Info: Will manage a team of 5 – 10 people
