The Warehouse Supervisor work under the direction of the Warehouse Manager assisting with the daily warehouse operations. Responsible for the fulfillment, cleaning and re-deployment process for medical equipment and supplies. This role loads, unloads and stocks supplies in the warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and acts as a back-up driver when needed.
- Packages and prepares equipment and supplies prior to distribution.
- Fills orders by preparing supplies to be distributed to patients.
- Ensures distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms and packaging slips are completed accurately.
- Usually handles the more complex orders.
- Assists less experienced Warehouse Coordinators by providing guidance with job duties and responsibilities.
- Stocks and stores warehouse equipment and supplies.
- Reports stock levels to Warehouse Manager.
- Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment.
- Provide on the job training and development for warehouse team.
- Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager or General Manager, may complete daily management responsibilities, such as:
- Time off requests and timecard approvals in the Time Keeping system
- Participate in the annual performance review process
- Provide feedback for staff performance improvement and disciplinary action.
- Other duties, as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in home infusion
- Experience in warehousing or distribution inventory management
- Successful completion of an approved/accredited pharmacy technician training program; IV certification preferred
- Certified pharmacy technician licenses, required per individual State Board of Pharmacy
- PC proficiency previous supervisory background
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standards
- This position may supervise 5-10 employees
