SalaryJOB PURPOSE:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff. Makes day to day decisions within his/her department. All personnel decisions will be made collaboratively with the Plant Manager. These areas of responsibility can be modified as needed to meet the standards required by the Plant Manager and Soundcoat Company.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Accountability 1: Overseas receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, waste management and documentation..
Example of activities:
· Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
· Utilizes the enterprise resource system(ERP), AS400.
· Maintains optimum level of supplies needed for department, i.e. boxes, tape, labels, etc.
· Perform weekly cycle counts
2. Accountability 2: Overseas receiving, stowing and tracking of all hazardous materials. Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows and utilization of the warehouse space.
Example of activities:
· Implements strong safety policies and procedures.
· Will be a member of the Safety Council.
· Communicates daily with purchasing department for delivery schedules of necessary goods.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
· Education level & general experience: High School Diploma, 5 years’ experience.
· Technical knowledge/ expertise: Inventory and chain management a +.
· Competencies: Ability to understand and follow directions. Understanding of AS400 JDE

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
· Materials are packaged correctly (no complaints of poorly packed and damaged material)
· Materials are delivered on time and to the correct location
· Materials received with correct quantities and quality standards
· Inventory maintained with 98% accuracy or better.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
