- Supervise warehouse associates, manage daily activities, and orchestrating workforce to match workload for high productivity
- Develop associates and provide business vision for world class customer service
- Create and implement process improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality
- Communicate with other departments, dealers, transport carriers, and supply vendors
- Track, evaluate, and report root cause and countermeasures for warehouse productivity to management
- Responsible for the training of new associates on daily activities
- Provide associate counseling and disciplinary action as needed
- Ensure compliance with the company policies, OSHA, health, and safety regulations
- Monitor warehouse supplies and maintain just in time levels
- Associate degree or equivalent job-related experience
- 3+ years in a job- related field with increasing responsibilities to include specialized areas
- One to three years of previous supervisory experience including providing training and performance management
- Previous exemplary performance in a job-related field may partially compensate for lack of supervisory experience
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Must be able to work the 2nd shift, starting at 3PM/4PM until 11:30PM/12:30AM
- Proven ability to handle project from creation to completion
- Good written, verbal, interpersonal and telephone communication skills
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office and AHM related software/applications
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate
- Knowledge of automobile, motorcycle, and power equipment lines a plus
- Ability to develop associates
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
