Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Currently, we’re seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee operations at our fulfillment center in Tickfaw, Louisiana. This skilled multitasker will be responsible for ensuring an efficient Warehouse Shift, whilst achieving agreed budgetary and service levels. To provide an effective and reliable service to customers whilst meeting all legal requirements, the Shift Supervisor must achieve inventory accuracy and coordinate order fulfillment for product orders. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all productions for respective shift from 17 injection machines and directly supervising 15-20 employees.
• Ensure an efficient Warehouse Shift is able to fulfill maximum production and customer demand.
• Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials to production lines is in accordance with production schedules and to quality standards.
• Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by overseeing physical counts and reconciliation with automated systems utilizing help of others in the warehouse team.
• Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space and propose new design layouts to enhance operations and plan future capacity requirements.
• Ensure that health and safety protocols meet the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out.
• Ensure any hazardous materials are stored in accordance with requirements.
• Establish, monitor and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures.
• Ensure that machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.
• Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
• Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
• Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
• Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal

Schedule:

• Swing Shift; 2-2-3
• Days and nights; alternates every 28 days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
