Job Summary:
The Shift Manager is responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates while ensuring inbound and outbound shipments of products are maneuvered and processed safely through the warehouse.

What you'll do:
- Assist in daily warehouse operations including but not limited to vendor receiving, computer system runs, accurate tagging, picking, staging and inventory of all products.
- Responsible for timeliness and accurate daily reporting to the Ops Manager.
- Responsible for examining shipment contents by comparing records such as BOLs, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Ensures the culture of the department aligns to NPF core values.
- Be responsible for and follow safety and health regulations by participating in and leading safety meetings, reporting hazardous conditions, and performing job according to Best Practices.
- Assist in training and coaching all warehouse employees following training guidelines and Best Practices.
- Recommend improvements to our systems and processes to improve KPI performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be certified to operate a forklift.
- Warehousing experience is required.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have experience working in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Experience in a leadership role required.
- Must have good teamwork skills and effectively communicate with others.
- Must be dependable and have a good attendance record.
- Must have basic math and computer skills.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, or when requested to support the 24/7 business.
- Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to fifty pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor.
