Job Summary:
Our warehouse selectors use voice technology to prepare orders for shipping from our central warehouse to over 200 stores in New England and beyond. They’re responsible for gathering products for each order before it’s sent from the storage area. In addition to lifting and moving boxes throughout the shift, they also build pallets and load the trailers as told by the warehouse supervisor to make it as easy as possible for the stores to unload. Of course, none of this can happen without a safe and clean shipping area, they take care of that too. Training and the tools to be successful in this position are provided.

Essential Functions:

• Good Communication skills
• Visual acuity and hearing are essential for warehouse safety.
• Ability to read a store order and locate specific storage areas within the warehouse.
• Previous warehouse experience with motorized pallet jacks desired
• Safe operation of a pallet jack.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Use of safe work practices including safe body mechanics
• Retrieve orders accurately according to quantity, size etc.
• Ability to build sturdy pallets, wrap and rack pallets with orders, and position them to loading dock in preparation for shipment to stores.
• Load trailers with secured pallets using a trailer diagram.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
