We are looking for dedicated individuals for our Early Learning Teacher Aidepositions to join the New Adventures Children’s Center team in Tacoma, Washington. If you have recent early childhood education experience and are looking to join a mission driven organization, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary
The New Adventures Early Learning Teacher Aide is responsible for assisting in the general supervision and management of a class of children. This is an entry-level position working under the direction of the Teacher and/or Teacher Assistant. This position requires an understanding of the growth, development, and needs of children. Internal contacts are within the work group. External contacts include parents/families of children of and are general in nature.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must have these certifications within 90-days of hire: First Aid, CPR, and Food Handling certification
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Have or willing to obtain education or training in Early Childhood education
• Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age
• Meets WA State requirements to work in a licensed child care facility

Pay: $18.38 - $26.46 per hour
