SNBS Job Description – Warehouse Sales/Deconstruction Associate

The Stardust Warehouse Sales/Deconstruction Associate works under the supervision of store managers/decon team lead doing a variety of warehouse/sales-related tasks in the retail store and deconstruction in the field. The Associate is friendly and knowledgeable about inventory, pricing, and Stardust’s policies and provides exemplary customer service. He/she also is skilled in basic construction work and open to learning when necessary.

Job Duties:

• Unload donated items from trucks, enter into inventory control system, and affix price tag to items
• Greet customers, assist them in locating items in the store, loading merchandise into vehicles, and completing payment transactions at the register
• Maintain the cleanliness and organized appearance of the store
• Relocate large items in the store using the forklift, pallet jacks, furniture dollies, and other equipment
• Provide support to the Store Manager, Team Leads, and other team members as needed
• Deconstruct with care and precision cabinet sets and other items donated by the customer, and clean up all debris made during the process
• Carefully load and secure items into the box truck
• Communicate with customers in the field when necessary

Compensation:

Pay range $17/hr – 18/hr DOE

Sick pay, vacation pay, holiday pay, birthday pay

Full time employees eligible on the 1stof the month following 60 days’ employment for health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus participation in the Stardust 401K Plan.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
