We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team in the warehouse! This individual will be supporting the warehouse manager with the day to day responsibilities including receiving and sorting products, arranging stock in the warehouse as well as maintaining the building.
Reports To
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques.
- Inspect received items for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Organize and store incoming inventory per the manager’s procedures in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Fulfill production work orders by accurately selecting the correct items from inventory shelves or storage areas..
- Identify and segregate any damaged or defective items according to company procedures and report to Warehouse Manager.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize safety hazards and improve efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to achieve daily production goals and targets.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues or challenges that arise.
- Contribute to a positive work culture by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a willingness to help others.
Qualifications & Skills
- Clean DMV Record with a valid Driver's License
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Forklift and pallet jack experience
- Dependable, responsible and hard-working
- Self-starter with high energy
- Able to use basic hand tools
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Reliable Transportation
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
