Warehouse Safety Security Coordinator

As a Safety & Security Worker, helping to maintain a safe work environment at our Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will: • Ensure compliance with IKEA Risk Management Standards on a consistent basis via audits, follow-up, education and training and reports. • Respond to all accidents and provide basic first aid and/or CPR • Perform accident investigations and complete reports • Ensure building and premises security, monitor security video feeds and respond to alarms • Respond to various security situations including but not limited to injuries, medical events, natural disasters, theft, threats, fraud, misconduct and trespassing. • Work in partnership with the Safety and Security Manager and other unit leadership to investigate sensitive issues • Intake and report injuries slip and falls, near misses and Workers Compensation incidents to the relevant partners via electronic reporting and phone systems • Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

• Safety and security experience preferred • Knowledge of security protocols and alarm system equipment and software monitoring. • Experience with investigation methodology and disaster response. • Strong communication skills • Computer proficient Requirements • Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

The hourly pay range for this role is $21.07/hr – $30.03/hr. The anticipated posting closing date is on or around 6/02/24.
