Warehouse Representative

AbelCine is a full-service equipment and technology provider to the broadcast, production and new media industries. We offer sales, finance, training, rental, integration and tech services to our professional customer base with offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Representative to join our New York headquarters, in Industry City, Brooklyn. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, hard-working individual to participate in our exciting and fast-paced company.

This position would encompass the following key responsibilities:

• Fulfillment Tasks
  • Pick inventory for all orders (Will-Call and Shipments)        
  • Pack, process, and confirm all orders. File all shipping documentation appropriately.
  • Process international,  hazmat, and freight shipments
  • Assist clients with Will Call pick-up
  • Process interoffice transfers, vendor RTVs, Call Tags, Miscellaneous PLs
  • Assist with rush shipment logistics and details as needed
• Inventory Tasks
  • Maintain organizational methods in the warehouse
  • Maintain responsibility for all Sales Inventory pieces
  • Physically receive all daily incoming packages and distribute packages around office
  • Systematically receive all items against open POs
  • Stock all inventory in an organized and methodical manner, conduct regular cycle counts and file all receiving documentation appropriately.                        
  • Manage and process returned inventory to stock, outbound inventory to RTV, sales preps, display inventory
  • Coordinate transfer of retail inventory with floor staff
  • Conduct semi-regular full inventory counts
• Unloading and loading pallet shipments
• Other duties as assigned

Successful applicants must possess the following attributes: 

• Associates degree, or equivalent combination of training and work experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with high volume inventory, fulfillment and shipping and receiving
• Basic knowledge of HazMat regulations is a plus; willingness to become certified in this area a must
• Working knowledge of international shipments and regulations a plus
• Experience with Mac OS; working with Salesforce CRM and ERP systems is desired
• Excellent attention to detail, and critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills
• Exceptional communication skills, including professional correspondence skills are a must
• Outgoing personality and ability to interact with other departments and outside vendors and clients effectively
• Drive, flexibility and multi-tasking capability with ability to thrive in a team environment
• Positive attitude, personable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Physical Effort

• Prolonged standing, walking for length of work shift
• Sitting and standing work at computer, requiring frequent use of computer monitors for documentation and reporting
• Frequent lifting and pushing
• Frequently moving supplies and equipment requiring moderate physical effort (lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.).
• Manual dexterity and mobility.
• Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Occasionally removes or replaces supplies or equipment weighing up to 15 lbs. from locations at or above shoulder level.
• Lift and/or carry items with necessary assistance / assistive devices .

This is a full-time, on-site, non-exempt position. The work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM, with occasional overtime, as needed. The annual salary range is $42k - 46k commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
