SUMMARY
Maverick Beverage Company is a fast-growing distributor focused on Fine Wine and Craft Spirits in Arizona. Our focus is on representing vintners and distillers dedicated to tradition, innovation, and quality.
The Receiving Warehouse Team Member unloads freight, breaks down and palletizes products, puts away products safely, accurately, and efficiently, and adheres to all company safety policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list may not include all duties as assigned):
· Unloads and loads freight from trailers, safely using industrial power equipment such as forklifts
· Breaks down inbound pallets to count and check product accuracy before receiving into ERP
· Puts away received products, using industrial power equipment such as a forklift or order picker
· Replenishes products from overstock to picking locations
· Organizes products in racking, such as consolidating, facing, and slotting products in bins
· Conducts stock counts for continual inventory accuracy using handheld scanners
· Updates product locations for high-velocity items
· Adheres to Company processes to maintain inventory accuracy for bins and overall warehouse
- Follows Company's safety policies and procedures; encourages Team Members to do the same
- Safely operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to complete tasks
· Performs and documents safety inspections of powered industrial equipment before operation
- Works cooperatively and productively with other Team Members to complete tasks
- Consistently maintains a clean and safe working environment, leading by examples
OTHER:
· Must be able to travel within established geographic areas/routes as assigned, as necessary when driving on behalf of the Company as a backup Driver.
· Must have reliable transportation, hold a valid drivers’ license and meet company driving record criteria.
- Picks sample orders and will calls using handheld scanners for immediate pickup
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- One to two years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic handheld electronic skills for order processing using handheld scanners
- Company certification to operate industrial equipment such as order pickers or forklifts
- Ability to stand, climb, walk or drive continually throughout a shift
- Ability to lift from floor to above the head, cartons weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Must be available to work during shift hours as assigned by the manager
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to walk, drive industrial equipment, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The work environment requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Exposure to dust, debris and fluctuating temperatures
