Position Purpose
Receiving Lead is a hands-on position working closely with warehouse leadership and is responsible for managing all tasks and functions on the warehouse dock. Ensures all inbound shipments including customer returns accurately and timely processed. Additional tasks include put-away, outbound LTL processing and reporting functions. Effectively trains and develops employees and is focused on quality, safety and building a culture where all can thrive. Assists with updating written procedures, employee accountability, productivity goals and recognition.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Lead associates on warehouse dock
• Receiving functions- encompasses scheduling of shipments, unloading shipments from trailer, print necessary paperwork, breaking down pallets, review packing list with actual product for accurate items and quantities, process inbound shipments into company ERP System.
• Outbound LTL processing-includes coordination of shipments with various carriers, BOL creation, freight quotes, carrier portal entries, build shipments including palletizing, shrink- wrap, corner boards and additional packaging as required following established procedures. Verifies quantities, communicate required reports and other duties.
• Put Away-moving materials and stocking into storage locations following established procedures, other duties
• Replenishment-relocating materials from storage locations following established procedures, other duties
• Return Processing-includes verification of materials and RMA Number when provided, printing necessary paperwork, partnering with Accounting or General office, communicate required reports other duties.
• Freight Claim Processing-Notify proper departments and carrier, follow established procedures, and share weekly status update including QA Hold and other information with Warehouse Leadership.
• Teach, Train, Develop, Recognize and Reward Associates
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals, assisting others to achieve desired results
• Communicate and provide status updates throughout the day with Direct Report Manager and Supervisor
• Review and complete necessary daily reporting ensuring SLA are met

Education/Training/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Dock experience preferred
• Inventory experience preferred
