Warehouse Receiving Lead

Brilliant is looking for a Receiving Lead to join our warehouse team in Waukegan, IL.

Under the direction of the Inventory Manager, the Receiving Lead is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient processing of inbound shipments.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor carrier arrivals and ensure that all drop offs and pickups are completed successfully daily
• Ensure products arriving are up to Brilliant standards
• Verify quantities of product received
• Take photographs and visually check the quality of incoming products
• Support the cleanliness and organization of dock area
• Proactively communicate any issues or concerns
• Provide guidance documentation, and training to dock teammates
• Execute and provide process and project visibility to Inventory Manager
• Stage and sort products to be stored in the appropriate area based on information contained in our proprietary WMS
• Communicate with warehouse and corporate team members throughout the day
• Load and unload trailers

Skills Needed:

• 3+ years of experience in a comparable warehouse role
• Possess a sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to work as part of a team and lead
• Ability to communicate and delegate in a direct and concise manner
• A strong focus on detail and organization
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable working on smart phones and tablets
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Strength in working in a fast paced environment
