Job Overview:

As a Rafter Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the rafters within the CtL warehouse.  Your primary duties will include removing dust, debris, and other foreign materials from rafters, beams, and overhead structures to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean rafters, beams, and overhead structures ensuring all areas follow CtL EH&S processes and procedures.
• Prioritizing areas within the facility that require the most attention before proceeding with regular tasks.
• Remove dust, cobwebs, dirt, and other debris from rafters and overhead surfaces.
• Using motorized equipment and tools to access tight spaces and heights reaching 25+ft.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunction or need for repairs.
• Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in cleaning or building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and heights of 25 ft. and above.
• Experienced use of Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Forklifts preferred.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, bending, and carrying.
• Understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them diligently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours or overtime when necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

Working Conditions:

Work will be performed indoors in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Exposure to dust, dirt, and cleaning chemicals is common.

Overtime may be required based on workload and deadlines.
