Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is an organized individual responsible for performing a multitude of duties including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, pulling and filling orders from inventory, packing and delivering orders in accordance to specifications. The Warehouse Associate may also be trained in assembly of underground roughs and other various manufacturing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Packaging:
- Process material requests for plumbers.
- Input material requests into the system.
- Assign new or used tools to plumbers.
- Tag new tools and then input their information into the system.
- Make sure the tool room is organized.
- Occasional deliveries.
- Assisting in the warehouse as needed.
- Help with inventory control.
- Pullers:
- Practice proper pulling techniques, following procedure. (Pull, check, and take pictures).
- Assist with loading trucks, following shipper/driver instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
- Restock all used materials.
- Inform management of needed materials.
- Other related duties as assigned or needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong capability to identify safety problems and intervene before a safety incident occurs.
- Construct input on future equipment purchases and evaluation of existing equipment.
