SalarySummary/Objective: This warehouse position is responsible for a variety of warehousing activities. This role includes, but is not limited to, packing and unpacking goods from shipping containers, handling and cutting to length various copper wire and hose products, and ensuring all orders have been filled correctly.
Essential Functions
· Operates powered lift trucks, hand trucks or carts to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
- Effectively reading pick tickets and pulling accurate product.
- Efficiently packing products to be ready for shipment.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Be able to read measurements of different forms.
- Be able to operate powered lift trucks, hand trucks, or carts to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of shipping or receiving experience
Work Environment
This is a hands-on role that operates mainly in a warehouse environment. This role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. You must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
