Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Parts Packer, you will play a crucial role in the operations of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are packed accurately and efficiently for shipment. Your responsibilities will include packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipping, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack products according to company standards and order specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on items before packing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Use packing materials and techniques that ensure safe transport and delivery of products.
- Label packed items correctly with shipping information and inventory codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and perform stock checks as required.
- Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with product quality, inventory levels, or shipping details to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and processing shipping documents.
