SUMMARY :
Warehouse Operator I is an entry-level warehouse position responsible for incoming/outgoing shipments and staging raw materials for production in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and CGMP compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely unload and load trucks including stage materials, label, shrink wrap, and put away raw materials shipments received.
- Handle, store, and transport raw materials and finished products in compliance with CGMP compliance, safety protocols, and SOPs.
- Using the scan gun and computer, accurately prepare production orders such as pulling, picking, transferring, and completing documented records, and all batch staging requirements.
- Operate motorized and non-motorized vehicles, including box truck, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc. and complete associated training and certifications.
- Manage inventory levels such as usings scan guns when staging orders, inventory audits, cycle counts, and ongoing inventory-related projects.
- Follow SOPs, FDA and CGMP compliance requirements, and safety protocols for all warehouse operations.
- Actively Participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings.
- All other tasks as requested or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1+ years' experience in warehouse and/or forklift operations required.
- 1+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or CGMP manufacturing facility preferred.
- Basic computer skills with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Self- motivated, driven, detailed-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include clear understanding of written policies and procedures..
