Description
If you are selected as the Warehouse Operator, you will be accountable for performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking up and filling box orders, completing delivery and planning of events, furniture set-up and dismantling, and managing and coordinating stock in the warehouse.
This position can be based in Midland, Texas or Crane, Texas.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Perform warehouse duties including, unloading/loading trucks, using a forklift for unpacking receipts, packing returns, packing goods issued, maintaining documentation and safety of material
- Inspect materials upon receipt for damage, quantity, and specification
- Responsible for inventory placement into designated bins upon receipt completion
- Coordinate logistics and delivery of direct shipment materials to field locations
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Enter records into computerized tracking system (SAP)
- Perform goods issued receipts in SAP for all materials which flow through the warehouse
- Maintain warehouse transaction documentation
- Participate and assist in ensuring warehouse activity compliance
- Assist with Inventory control activities i.e. Cycle Counting, wall-to-walls
- Physically capable of lifting materials and product up to 50 pounds
- Comply with ConocoPhillips policy and industry regulations
- Stand/walk to monitor input and output of equipment and perform the essential functions of the role for a minimum of 8 hours
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts to move materials and items from receiving and storage areas
- Require 24 hours/7 days a week readiness and availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, during inclement weather, etc.
- Able to work long hours in excess of 12 hours possible, to meet stringent deadlines
Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee or asylee
- Currently hold and/or have the ability to obtain a valid forklift license
- 1+ years of warehouse experience
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
- Basic knowledge of quality, safety and standard operating procedures (SOP) of warehouse equipment
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform/align with the following:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Be on call beyond normal working hours
- Work overtime as needed after normal business hours including nights, weekends, holidays or during inclement weather, etc.
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis
Preferred:
- 3+ years of warehouse experience
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to operate and maintain all production equipment including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, wrap machine
- High degree of mechanical ability
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative
- Ability to read, write and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy
- Reliability, due to business-critical operations
- Willing to do what is necessary to get the job done accurately and on time
